The Shift Forward: Evolving Hockey Culture is a national learning and development program introduced by Hockey Canada and Hockey Alberta to replace the older Respect in Sport (RIS) certification

Certification is mandatory for all parents

1. Contact your Registrar to get a Hockey Canada ID for your new player
2. This expires every 4 seasons
3. Is required for player eligibility on Hockey Alberta rosters
4. Complete the Shift Forward test and provide certificate number to your Registrar
